About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position involves providing obstetric and gynecologic care at a hospital setting. Responsibilities include attending to labor and delivery, managing postpartum patients, conducting scheduled C-sections, and offering ER coverage duties as needed. The role focuses primarily on inpatient care with opportunities to manage high-risk obstetric cases and perform gynecological surgeries. The physician remains on a solo call when scheduled and delivers comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services as part of the care team.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $2007.50 to $2372.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide care plans for incoming and postpartum patients.
- Perform scheduled C-sections and other OB procedures.
- Provide emergency room gynecology and obstetric coverage.
- Collaborate with nurses and midwives for comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress in EPIC EMR system.
- Deliver and manage labor and delivery cases.
Job Requirements:
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN physician.
- Active Ohio medical license and DEA certification required.
- Certification in NRP.
- Minimum experience with inpatient obstetric and gynecological care.
- Proficiency in using EPIC EMR preferred.
- Clean background check.
- Local candidates preferred.
