About the Opportunity:
Join a dynamic dental team as a Dental Hygienist providing exceptional oral health care services to patients. This part-time contract position requires collaboration with the dentist to enhance patient care satisfaction. Perform various clinical duties essential for dental operations, ensuring a high level of customer service while working closely with patients, doctors, dental assistants, and other team members.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $52.25 to $61.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment as needed.
- Provide oral hygiene treatment and education according to state guidelines.
- Apply fluoride, protective sealants, and remove calculus, stain, and plaque.
- Conduct nutritional counseling and self-care programs for disease prevention.
- Record and review patient medical histories.
- Uphold office policies including HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
- Order and manage inventory as necessary.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene school.
- Hold a current state-issued Dental Hygiene license and CPR certification.
- X-ray training or certification.
- A minimum of one year of hands-on hygienist experience.
- Experience with GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
