About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position seeks a physician specializing in obstetrics and gynecology to provide outpatient care at the Irvine (Barranca) location. The role involves office-based procedures such as biopsies, IUD placement, and Nexplanon insertion, serving adolescents to geriatrics. Responsibilities include performing pregnancy confirmations with bedside ultrasound, conducting routine and initial OB visits, managing postpartum care, and addressing issues such as UTIs, STIs, menopause, HRT, and breast pain. The physician also handles incision checks and WWE across all ages, as well as performing LEEP, colposcopy, and other relevant procedures.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $146.30 to $172.90 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct pregnancy confirmations and bedside ultrasounds.
- Provide initial and routine OB visits.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Perform office-based procedures, including biopsies and IUD insertions.
- Document and monitor patient progress.
Job Requirements:
- Unrestricted CA license with board certification in OB/GYN.
- DEA license and certification in BLS or ACLS.
- At least 2 years of experience in relevant settings.
- Completion of an accredited 4-year OB/GYN residency program.
- Proficiency in EPIC software is required.
