About the Opportunity:
This contract position requires RN NICU professionals to provide specialized care for neonatal patients in a Level IV NICU environment. The role includes comprehensive patient assessments, developing care plans, implementing interventions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. This is a full-time position, on a 3×12 nights shift schedule. In addition to NICU responsibilities, floating to PICU/Peds may occur depending on census. The estimated base pay for these positions are $52.80 to $62.40 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nursing physical assessments.
- Develop and manage individualized plans of care.
- Implement interventions that align with established goals in the care plan.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and reset goals as necessary.
- Delegate tasks to promote leadership and teamwork.
- Educate patients, families, and staff on clinical and patient care issues.
Job Requirements:
- 2 years of Level IV NICU experience (including vents, bubble CPAP, CVCs, art lines).
- Certifications: NRP, BLS, PALS, RN.
- BSN or MSN degree required.
- Strong skills in developing and evaluating care plans.
- Experience with pre- and post-surgical care and managing various drips, stoma/trach care.
