About the Opportunity:
This is a full-time contract position for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) providing rehabilitative services to patients. PTAs assist in implementing physical therapy programs, help patients perform specific exercises, and educate them about self-care strategies to enhance healing. They collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective treatment plans.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $35.75 to $42.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments and collaborating on care plans.
- Providing prescribed physical therapy treatments and exercises.
- Collaborating with physical therapists to coordinate care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress.
- Educating patients on maintaining health and preventing injury.
Job Requirements:
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistance or related field.
- Valid state certification/license as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
