About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Spanish-speaking FM MD to join our client’s patient-focused primary care practice in Brooklyn. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive family medicine services while building lasting relationships with patients and families across multiple generations. The ideal candidate is comfortable treating patients throughout the lifespan, including newborns and pediatric patients, and values preventative care, patient education, and community-centered medicine.
The annual base salary range is $300,000 to $350,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver primary care services to patients ranging from newborns to older adults
- Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and chronic health conditions
- Conduct annual wellness visits, preventive screenings, and follow-up appointments
- Develop personalized care plans that support long-term health outcomes
- Provide health education and counseling to patients and caregivers
- Collaboration & Patient Experience
- Partner with clinical and administrative teams to provide coordinated care
- Promote a welcoming and culturally sensitive patient experience
- Support continuity of care through accurate documentation and communication
- Foster trust and engagement within the local community
Job Requirements
- Active New York NP or PA license
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- Experience in Primary Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Community Health
- Comfortable evaluating and treating newborns, infants, children, adolescents, and adults
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) background
- Experience in outpatient community-based healthcare settings
- Strong preventive care and chronic disease management experience
Schedule & Work Environment
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Daytime hours only
