About the Opportunity
Our client, a dynamic healthcare program in Essex County, NJ, is seeking a dedicated PMHNP to join its team in providing compassionate, high-quality mental health services within a community setting. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. The individual in this position must speak Spanish.
The annual base salary range is $130,000 to $160,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnose mental health conditions, and provide evidence-based treatment aligned with national standards and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans in coordination with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff
- Deliver both medication management and psychotherapy services to a diverse patient population
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and warning signs that require clinical attention
- Engage in preventative care strategies and contribute to the creation of protocols that support long-term wellness
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and optimal treatment outcomes
Job Requirements
- Licensed PMHNP in the state of New Jersey
- Bilingual in Spanish is required
- Must be able to work a full-time schedule (five 8-hour shifts per week)
- Experience or interest in providing both psychotherapy and medication management
