Chief of Staff

About the Opportunity

Our client, a prominent financial firm in Manhattan, is seeking a strategic and highly organized Chief of Staff to partner with the leadership team on operations and strategy. This agile leader will serve as a central point of coordination, streamlining initiatives and supporting executive priorities across the organization.

The Chief of Staff will manage leadership committee agendas and materials to ensure alignment and timely execution. This individual will support governance forums dedicated to pricing, growth, and new business activities by offering thoughtful planning and strategic recommendations. The role is responsible for delivering analytical insights, performance reporting, and business reviews that inform executive decision-making. The Chief of Staff will analyze operational performance and KPIs to pinpoint risks and opportunities, leading strategic projects and operational improvements while ensuring effective cross-functional execution.

The annual compensation range (total comp) is $180,000 to $200,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage leadership committee agendas, materials, and follow-up, ensuring alignment and timely execution
  • Support governance forums focused on pricing, growth initiatives, and new business activities through planning and strategic recommendations
  • Provide analytical insights, performance reporting, and business reviews to support executive decision-making
  • Oversee executive communications, including dashboards, briefing materials, calendars, and leadership updates
  • Prepare senior leadership meetings and executive presentations with a focus on clear outcomes and accountability
  • Analyze operational performance, KPIs, and strategic priorities to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Help drive strategic projects, operational enhancements, and cross-functional execution

 

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a Chief of Staff, Strategy, Operations, and/or Business Management
  • Experience at s consulting, finance, or technology firm
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Advanced presentation and reporting capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence supporting and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience translating data into practical business recommendations
