About the Opportunity
Our client, a prestigious financial services firm, is seeking an accomplished and strategic Global Head of Accounts Payable to lead operations from their Greenwich office. This experienced leader will oversee Accounts Payable, Travel & Expense, and Vendor Management functions, ensuring best-in-class support for both internal teams and external partners.
The Global Head of Accounts Payable will be responsible for hiring and managing team members, optimizing systems, and evaluating new tools to improve workflow efficiency. This individual will define key performance indicators, monitor results, and implement improvements to drive operational excellence. Additional responsibilities include ensuring high-quality service delivery, collaborating with Legal, Compliance, Technology, HR, and other departments, and developing dashboards and reports for senior leadership. The role will also support accounting through reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany transactions.
The annual base salary range is $160,000 to $250,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead Accounts Payable, Travel & Expense, and Vendor Management operations
- Hire and manage team members as needed
- Optimize systems; evaluate new tools to improve workflows
- Define KPIs, monitor performance, and drive improvements
- Ensure strong service delivery to internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Tech, HR, and other teams
- Develop dashboards and reporting for senior leadership
- Support accounting with reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany transactions
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of AP experience
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field
- Must have experience working in Asset Management
- Strong Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and PowerPoint skills
- Must haver Managerial experience
- Experience working with senior leadership
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and quick to learn
