About the Opportunity:

This part-time contract position for a Masters of Social Work (MSW) professional focuses on social services support for patients with Huntington's Disease and Multiple Sclerosis. The social worker practices in California, with clinical licensure preferred. Duties include contacting and screening patients for Huntington Disease, assessing socioeconomic constraints, and providing support with forms such as SDI and IHSS. The role also involves scheduling appointments and guiding patients through community resources. The position supports the Huntington's Disease unit every Monday and the Multiple Sclerosis department two additional days per week. Training and education for professionals new to Huntington's disease is available.

The estimated base pay for these positions are $44.00 to $52.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.

Job Responsibilities:

Job Requirements:

Masters of Social Work (MSW) or licensed clinical social worker (LCSW).
Experience in outpatient settings or familiarity with social support programs in California.
Knowledge of SSDI, IHSS, and managing complex patient care.
Proficiency with Epic charting system.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
