About the Opportunity:
This is a full-time contract position for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, focusing on delivering high-quality care to a diverse patient population including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients. The role involves managing common patient diagnoses such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $48.85 to $57.73 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for patients.
- Administer necessary therapies and educate patients and families.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately.
- Stay informed on the latest emergency care practices and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC certification with TNCC required.
- Active NY RN license and verification of all RN licenses through NURSYS.
- Minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience with some pediatric exposure.
- Documented travel nursing experience.
- Proficient in EPIC EMR systems.
- Charge capability highly preferred.
