About the Opportunity:
The Cath Lab Tech position involves providing specialized care in the catheterization laboratory. Key responsibilities include assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures, set up and maintenance of equipment, and ensuring patient safety during operations. This full-time contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic environment from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
The job requires participation in an on-call rotation from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
The estimated base pay for this position is $57.75 to $68.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation, if applicable, will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations.
- Providing accurate monitoring and baseline measurements.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals, including physical therapy and respiratory services, to coordinate care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress, including recognition and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
- Staying informed on the latest techniques in cardiac care, including arrhythmia induction and cardiac stent placement.
Job Requirements:
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Minimum of 1-year experience in a relevant setting.
- Experience using the EPIC charting system.
- Skills in angiography, hemodynamic monitoring, and interventional radiology.
