About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, providing critical care services to a diverse patient population, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients. This full-time contract position involves delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, handling cases such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $51.43 to $60.78 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments and creating personalized care plans for emergency cases.
- Providing lifesaving interventions and therapeutic care.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress accurately and timely.
- Staying informed on the latest emergency medicine practices and protocols.
Job Requirements:
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications (TNCC is required).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department, including some Pediatrics experience.
- Previous travel experience is required.
- Experience with EPIC EMR systems.
- Active New York RN license and all other required RN licenses verified through NURSYS.
- Charge capability is highly preferred.
