About the Opportunity
Our client, a dynamic financial services firm in New York City, is seeking an energetic and personable Receptionist / Jr Executive Assistant to be the welcoming face of their Manhattan office. This team member will provide outstanding first impressions to clients and visitors, handling in-person and telephone greetings with professionalism and warmth.
The Receptionist/Jr Executive Assistant will coordinate company-wide events, manage phone calls, and ensure guests have a seamless experience by setting up board rooms and providing refreshments. This individual will also handle office supply inventory, book essential travel arrangements, and oversee mail distribution and logistics. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a collaborative culture and deliver top-tier administrative support within a fast-paced environment.
The annual base salary range is $60,000 to $100,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and visitors by greeting them either in person or by telephone
- Plan company wide events, both on and off-site
- Answering the phones and referring to the appropriate department or person
- Setting up board room meeting space and providing refreshments to guests
- Maintain and stock office supplies
- Book travel arrangements
- Distributing and overseeing incoming and outgoing mail
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1+ years of relevant experience
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
