About the Opportunity:
Provide high-quality radiologic imaging services to patients in an acute care setting. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to established protocols. Maintain radiologic equipment and ensure patient safety and comfort. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $54.45 to $64.35 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct radiographic examinations and produce diagnostic images.
- Ensure quality assurance and follow safety protocols.
- Monitor and document patient progress during procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to coordinate patient care.
- Stay informed on advancements in radiology technology and practices.
Job Requirements:
- Completion of an appropriate training program for Radiologic Technologist.
- Current certification and registration as a Radiology Tech issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- A valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH.
- At least one (1) year of experience in an acute setting.
- One (1) year of general radiographer experience.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
