About the Opportunity:
This General Services Specialist role provides essential services in the Central Region, including maintaining inventory systems, managing vehicle and equipment maintenance, and assisting with internal and external departmental moves. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $12.60 to $14.89 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain and account for Personal Protection Equipment and DSNAP inventory.
- Comply with CFOP 40-2 Vehicle Management, including maintaining state vehicles and submitting monthly logs.
- Assist with the destruction of mail and internal and external moves.
- Manage keycard systems and surplus materials disposal.
- Install office equipment such as whiteboards and pictures.
- Assist IT with equipment moves.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure safety compliance.
- Assist with Disaster Management preparation and recovery efforts.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Florida Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a level 2 background screening and clear MVR.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in supply/warehouse management (1 year).
- Experience maintaining a fleet of vehicles (6 months).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with Central Florida regions and GPS usage.
- Ability to assist with disaster management and recovery efforts.
