About the Opportunity:
This contract opportunity exists for a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Vascular Surgery. The role involves both inpatient and outpatient care, working collaboratively with physicians to provide high-quality vascular and endovascular care. Responsibilities include conducting patient rounding, admissions, and assisting in surgeries, both in clinical and hospital settings. The position covers various shifts, including 10-hour and 24-hour call shifts. Location rotates between hospital and clinic environments, and the role involves documenting care activities in EPIC EMR. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $869.44 to $1027.52 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop care plans for vascular patients.
- Assist as the first assistant in OR and clinical procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress in EMR using EPIC.
- Stay informed on current vascular surgical practices and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Advanced Nursing Degree (Master's or Doctorate) with specialization in nurse practitioner.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in vascular surgery or related settings preferred.
- Certification in BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR documentation.
- Ability to provide documentation of clinical activity and competency in the last 24 months.
