About the Opportunity:
The opportunity involves providing emergency care and comprehensive nursing services to patients in a fast-paced emergency room environment. This role is a full-time contract position in San Francisco, CA.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $51.70 to $61.10 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and create care plans in the emergency setting.
- Provide resuscitation and stabilization for patients with acute medical conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and responses to interventions.
- Stay informed on emergency medicine practices and protocols.
Job Requirements:
- CA RN License and BSN degree.
- Certifications in AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in an emergency department setting.
- A previous travel nursing assignment is required.
- Ability to float to other UCSF Facilities.
- Preferred experience in Level 1 Trauma Center, continuous IV sedation, and triage.
