About the Opportunity:
The LPN/LVN contract position involves providing high-quality care to long-term care patients. The role includes administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and assisting with daily living activities for patients, including those with common diagnoses such as dementia, chronic diseases, and diabetes. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $30.86 to $36.47 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patient conditions and progress.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Provide patient and family education regarding care plans and health maintenance.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Job Requirements:
- Current NY LPN/LVN license.
- BLS (AHA) certification required.
- 1-3 years of experience in long-term care settings.
- Experience with SNF settings preferred.
- Proficiency in using eMAR systems such as PointClickCare.
