About the Opportunity:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides care to patients in a long-term care setting at a 40-bed unit dealing with MS, ortho, dementia, and memory care. This part-time contract position requires floating to all units within the same building during evening shifts from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM, with every other weekend being necessary. The estimated base pay for these positions are $30.86 to $36.47 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments and contributing to care plans.
- Providing nursing care and patient education.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress using EMR: PointClick Care.
- Floating to different units to maintain staffing needs.
Job Requirements:
- Current NY LPN license.
- 1+ years of experience in long-term care settings.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to float to all units within the facility.
