About the Opportunity:
This contract position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients at the Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility (CFCF). Registered Nurses in this role assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $39.60 to $46.80 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and create individualized care plans.
- Provide medical treatments and administer medications.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report changes to the medical team.
- Stay informed on current nursing practices and care protocols in correctional healthcare.
Job Requirements:
- Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
