About the Opportunity:
An Ultrasound Tech in Watertown, NY, provides essential imaging services, with a focus on both vascular and obstetric sonography. This role involves nighttime coverage on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 7PM-7AM, under a 13-week contract. The position is full-time and responsibilities include capturing and analyzing sonographic images to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $51.15 to $60.45 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting ultrasound assessments and creating diagnostic reports.
- Providing clear imaging for both vascular and obstetric concerns.
- Collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to support patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting findings during sonographic procedures.
- Staying informed on advances in radiologic technology and sonography practices.
Job Requirements:
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography.
- Minimum one year of radiologic/imaging experience.
- Specific training in Medical Sonography.
- Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
- Current BLS certification.
- Proficiency with major Medical Sonography equipment and related software.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines and handle multiple projects.
