About the Opportunity:
The Ultrasound Tech provides diagnostic imaging services to patients, specializing in both adult and pediatric ultrasound examinations, including vascular imaging. This full-time contract position involves performing high-quality sonographic examinations and accurately documenting findings for diagnostic purposes. The Ultrasound Tech alternates weekends and handles holiday shifts. Training includes a two-week schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including an EPIC class. In-person interviews are required for this role.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $58.65 to $69.31 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) finalize at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic ultrasound assessments and create detailed care plans.
- Provide accurate imaging interpretations and communicate with healthcare teams.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress following imaging procedures.
- Stay informed on the latest ultrasound technology and practices.
Job Requirements:
- Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by ARDMS.
- Completion of an appropriate training program for Ultrasound Technologists, including Military Training.
- At least 1 year of General Registered Ultrasound experience.
- Experience in an acute setting required.
