About the Opportunity:
This contract position offers an exciting opportunity for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide hands-on therapeutic care to patients. As a PTA, you conduct physical therapy sessions that enhance patient mobility and quality of life. Collaborate with physical therapists to design and implement individualized treatment plans. This is a part-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $33.00 to $39.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct specific assessments and create care plans under the supervision of a physical therapist.
- Provide direct patient care and therapeutic interventions.
- Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatments as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding physical therapy practices.
Job Requirements:
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a rehabilitation or hospital setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
