About the Opportunity:
We seek a Dental Assistant to support our clinical team by delivering excellent patient care and satisfaction in a team-based environment. This full-time contract position involves handling various clinical duties for dental office operations, providing opportunities for learning and growth. All aspects of the role require exceptional customer service and communication skills.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $20.90 to $24.70 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure a welcoming and well-prepared treatment room by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
- Prepare patients for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping them.
- Serve as a key communicator, providing valuable information and support through responsive interactions.
- Provide instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment areas and positioning instruments for dentist's access.
- Provide diagnostic information by exposing and developing radiographic studies and maintaining patient records.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative care instructions.
- Maintain hygiene by adhering to infection-control policies and conserving dental resources.
- Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, publications, and networks.
Job Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program or six months of hands-on experience as a Dental Assistant.
- CPR card.
- X-Ray certification.
