About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position provides care as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a long-term care (LTC) setting. The role includes assisting residents with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining patient comfort and safety. The CNA collaborates with nursing staff to deliver high-quality care and support for patients with conditions such as multiple sclerosis, orthopedic issues, dementia, and memory care needs.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $23.14 to $27.35 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and assist with creating personalized care plans.
- Provide daily care activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding residents.
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report changes to nursing staff.
- Stay informed on best practices for patient care and safety in LTC settings.
Job Requirements:
- Active NY CNA license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a long-term care facility.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with PointClick Care electronic medical records.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
