About the Opportunity:
This role involves providing critical care services to patients in an ICU setting. The RN in this float pool position administers comprehensive nursing care and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams across departments, including TCUs, ICUs, ED, and PACU. This is a full-time contract position with rotating 12-hour day/night shifts. The estimated base pay for these positions are $53.90 to $63.70 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments and creating individualized care plans.
- Providing direct patient care, including administration of medications and therapies.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and response to treatment.
- Staying informed on the latest practices in critical care nursing.
Job Requirements:
- California RN License.
- BSN degree.
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience.
- Preferred experience includes NIHSS certification and 2.5 years ICU experience.
- Required trauma Level II experience.
