About the Opportunity:
Work with the dentist to meet the oral health needs of patients in a dental environment. Provide high-level patient care and satisfaction through a team-based approach. This part-time contract position involves handling various clinical duties for dental office operations. Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to collaborating with patients, doctors, dental assistants, and other team members are essential.
The estimated base pay for this position is $44.00 to $52.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment.
- Provide oral hygiene treatment and education according to state guidelines.
- Apply fluoride and protective sealants, and remove calculus, stains, and plaque.
- Conduct nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease.
- Record and review patient medical histories accurately.
- Uphold office policies including HIPAA & OSHA.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Order and track inventory as necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene school.
- Hold a current state-issued Dental Hygiene license.
- Possess CPR certification and X-ray training or certification.
- At least one year of experience as a hygienist.
- Experience with GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment operation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
