About the Opportunity:
This contract position involves providing specialized gastroenterology care to patients, including conducting assessments, performing specified procedures, and managing patient needs across both inpatient and outpatient settings. The role operates on a .5 FTE shared among other providers. The provider engages in collaborative practice alongside another GI MD and undertakes responsibilities in a secondary clinic nearby.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $328.13 to $387.79 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting colonoscopies, EGDs, flex sigs, and dilations.
- Providing comprehensive general GI care and procedures.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress in the EMR system, EPIC.
- Engaging in continuous education to stay informed on gastroenterology practices.
Job Requirements:
- Possession of WA license or IMLC.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of two years of experience in relevant settings.
- Proficiency with the EPIC charting system.
- Proven skills in effective communication, organization, and patient care.
