About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated Physician for a full-time contract position in Gastroenterology. The role involves providing comprehensive gastrointestinal care, including performing procedures such as endoscopies and colonoscopies. Core responsibilities include attending to non-compliant and sick patients, many of whom bring family members to appointments, and maintaining a pleasant and kind culture. Support from Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) enhances the collaborative care environment.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $4042.50 to $4777.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for gastrointestinal conditions.
- Perform general and advanced GI procedures, including ERCP and diagnostic EGD.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including APP support, to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress during clinic hours, Monday through Friday.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge in GI practices and stay informed on relevant research.
Job Requirements:
- Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
- Experience with Meditech EMR system preferred but not required.
- Effective communication and strong relationship-building skills.
- Ability to perform required procedures such as colonoscopies and upper endoscopies (EGD).
