About the Opportunity:
This position provides nursing care to patients in a correctional facility, ensuring adherence to established protocols and security measures. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $33.00 to $39.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for inmate patients.
- Provide basic medical treatment and administer medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and changes in condition.
- Stay informed on advancements in correctional healthcare practices.
Job Requirements:
- Valid LPN certification or degree.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience in a correctional environment preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
