About the Opportunity:
Provide essential sterile processing services to support hospital operations. Sterile Processing Tech roles involve decontaminating, inspecting, sterilizing, and distributing medical instruments and equipment. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $44.00 to $52.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct decontamination processes and ensure proper sterilization of instruments.
- Provide sterile supplies and equipment to various hospital departments.
- Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments.
- Monitor sterilization equipment and document sterilization parameters.
- Stay informed on best practices and advancements in sterile processing.
Job Requirements:
- CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA certification.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Compliance with COVID-19 and flu vaccine requirements.
