About the Opportunity:
This position involves providing high-quality mammography services, including screening and diagnostic mammograms, to adult and geriatric patients. The Mammo Tech role focuses on conducting structured mammography exams and coordinating patient care with precision and empathy in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $55.00 to $65.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct screening and diagnostic mammograms for adult and geriatric patients.
- Provide patient education and guidance throughout mammography procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Stay informed on the latest advancements in mammography and imaging techniques.
Job Requirements:
- Certification: ARRT (M), ARRT R, and BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in mammography settings.
- Preferred experience in community hospital and charting system (Epic).
- Required skills include 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, and PACS.
