About the Opportunity:
The RN in the CCU/ICU provides critical and intensive care services to patients, ensuring high-quality medical interventions and monitoring. This is a full-time contract position, requiring availability for 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, holidays, and floating to Hampden as needed.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $56.65 to $66.95 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and creating individualized care plans for CCU/ICU patients.
- Providing advanced life support and critical care therapies.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care.
- Monitoring patient progress and documenting changes in patient status.
- Staying informed on the latest CCU/ICU care protocols and practices.
Job Requirements:
- Active PA or Compact RN license and fingerprints required at start.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- Minimum experience in critical care settings preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
