About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position involves providing specialized care in Labor and Delivery. The role requires conducting comprehensive maternal assessments, assisting with C-sections, and managing postpartum care. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $63.25 to $74.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct maternal assessments and create detailed care plans.
- Provide post-delivery education to new parents.
- Collaborate with obstetricians and pediatricians to coordinate care.
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately.
- Stay informed on latest practices in labor and delivery care.
- Administer and manage IVs, epidurals, and medications.
Job Requirements:
- Current CA RN license, AHA ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications.
- AWHONN Intermediate certification required at time of submission.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Labor and Delivery, with at least 1 year recent.
- Experience in postpartum care and circulating C-sections.
- Epic charting system experience preferred.
- Previous travel assignment and willingness to float to other facilities required.
