About the Opportunity:
This contract position for a Physical Therapist Assistant involves providing physical therapy services to patients. Responsibilities include assisting in the administration of rehabilitative activities and exercises to increase patients' mobility under the guidance of a Physical Therapist. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $34.65 to $40.95 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical assessments and assist in creating personalized care plans.
- Provide therapy sessions focused on improving patients' physical abilities.
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report findings.
- Stay informed on advancements and best practices in physical therapy.
Job Requirements:
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a physical therapy setting.
- Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
