About the Opportunity:
This role as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department involves providing critical care services to patients during emergency situations. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering treatments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $51.43 to $60.78 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create effective care plans.
- Administer treatments, medications, and emergency interventions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes.
- Stay informed on the latest research and practices in emergency care.
Job Requirements:
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an emergency department setting.
- Experience with pediatric patients preferred.
- Previous travel experience is required.
- Proficiency with the EPIC EMR system.
- Valid and active NY nursing license.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
