About the Opportunity:
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages in a hospital setting. Work in a full-time contract position requiring 12 to 14 shifts each month, with 12-hour rotating day and night shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM and 7 PM to 7 AM. Serve a diverse patient population with varying healthcare needs. Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APP) within a 10-bed Emergency Department.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $211.75 to $250.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and create treatment plans for emergency conditions.
- Provide medical interventions and care specific to emergency medicine.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including APPs, to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress using the Cerner EMR system.
- Stay informed on emergency medicine protocols and best practices.
Job Requirements:
- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine.
- State license; consider IMLC or WV temporary license.
- DEA certification.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
