About the Opportunity:
This position offers a dedicated professional role for a Licensed Social Worker in Oakland, providing comprehensive case management and biopsychosocial assessments to both pediatric and adult patients. This full-time contract position involves working closely with patients experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including PTSD, ADHD, and developmental concerns. The social worker collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate appropriate care, providing education and advocacy to patients and families.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $52.25 to $61.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting biopsychosocial assessments and creating comprehensive care plans.
- Providing crisis intervention and patient/family education support.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to coordinate care across departments.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and treatment responses.
- Developing and implementing safety and discharge plans.
Job Requirements:
- LCSW certification required.
- Minimum experience in case management.
- Ability to float to other UCSF facilities as needed.
- Experience with Epic charting system.
- Preferred experience includes LCSW-C certification, pediatric care, and federal/state/county health experience.
