About the Opportunity:
We offer a part-time contract position for a Registered Nurse in the Burn ICU, focused on delivering critical care to patients. The role includes managing complex cases, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. This position involves 12-hour day shifts and requires the ability to float to other facilities as needed.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $53.90 to $63.70 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide intensive care and advanced burn life support.
- Collaborate with physical therapy, respiratory services, and other support teams to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adapting care plans as necessary.
- Stay informed on the latest research and practices relevant to burn and critical care nursing.
Job Requirements:
- CA RN License.
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience and 1 year in critical care.
- Ability to float to other facilities within a 75-mile radius.
- Preferred experience in burn units and 1 year of pediatric care.
- Advanced certifications such as CCRN, ABLS, or CBRN preferred.
- Experience with Epic charting system required.
- Arterial line management, blood product administration, and other critical care skills.
