About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position offers an exciting opportunity for a Retina Surgeon in Henderson, NV. The role involves providing comprehensive eye care and specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of retinal diseases. The position includes a full-time clinic and surgical schedule with predictable Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) block time, managed by a dedicated retina-trained support staff. The practice serves a large referral base and focuses on adult patients, with rare instances of seeing youth aged 16 or 17.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $2351.25 to $2778.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct retinal assessments and create comprehensive care plans.
- Provide surgical management of retinal diseases through vitreoretinal procedures.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders and support staff to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress using ModMed EHR application.
- Stay informed on advancements in retinal surgery and treatment.
Job Requirements:
- Board Certified Retina Surgeon with fellowship training.
- NV license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
- DEA certification.
- Skills in diagnosing and managing retinal disease, and performing vitreoretinal procedures independently.
