About the Opportunity:
This is a full-time contract opportunity for a Mammo Tech to provide comprehensive mammography services. The role involves performing screening and diagnostic mammograms, conducting wire/seed localization, stereotactic biopsies, and DEXA scans in a high-volume clinic setting. The Mammo Tech collaborates closely with the mammography department to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient operations.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $48.40 to $57.20 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct screening and diagnostic mammograms using advanced imaging technology.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure precise and timely patient diagnoses.
- Monitor and document patient information in compliance with department protocols.
- Stay informed on the latest advancements in mammography technology and practices.
Job Requirements:
- ARRT(R) and ARRT(M) certifications required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a mammography setting.
- Proficient in 3-D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, and Digital Mammography.
- Preferred experience in a community hospital setting.
