About the Opportunity
Our client has been known as a premier U.S. law firm for almost two centuries now. The firm is in search of an Application Support Engineer to join their team in New York City. The individual in this role will participate in the design, development, testing, maintenance, support and deployment of all scripts related to relevant systems and projects. Under the direction of the Senior Manager of Knowledge Systems, the Engineer will bring innovation to various document and practice management systems implementations, as well as leverage strong technical knowledge to provide day-to-day support to the Firm’s end users.
The annual base salary range is $100,000 to $120,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Participates in the design, coding, testing, maintenance, support and deployment of all scripts related to relevant systems/projects
- Performs scheduled and ad-hoc analysis, as needed
- Enters pertinent information into our process mapping/ data governance application
- Identifies, reviews and responds to dataflow issues
- Provides feedback regarding system and workflow improvements and developments
- Performs back-end global support and maintenance for all relevant applications, such as the document management system, threat detection system and collaboration platforms
- Escalates complex system issues to vendors and ensures timely resolutions
- Maintains relationships with vendors and develops knowledge to support vendor systems
- Creates and maintains documentation that supports current and future applications
- Works with internal teams and vendors to develop knowledge solutions
- Performs other duties, as assigned
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services organization
- Knowledge of iManage, NetDocs, SharePoint or similar document management systems preferred
- Proficiency in MS SQL; experience with scripting is a plus
- Prior experience providing IT application support to users
- Prior experience with any/all of the below technologies will be a plus:
- IntApp Integration Builder
- IntApp Walls, Matter Team Manager, and Activity Tracker
- Threat Manager and/or SPM
- Decisiv Search
- IntApp Intake
- SharePoint
- Experience working with people of varying levels of seniority and technical expertise
- Availability to work additional hours, as needed
