About the Opportunity
Our client is a FinTech family office in New York City that is looking for an experienced Head of Engineering to shape and implement their investment platform. This role will be integral in taking the member-exclusive platform and driving innovation to the benefit of their client base. This is a rare opportunity to join an successful investment firm and directly influence the future of the company. They are currently operating on a hybrid schedule.
The annual base salary range is $300,000 to $400,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the entire software development lifecycle, encompassing QA, deployment, and maintenance across various platforms including desktop, mobile, frontend, backend, and infrastructure for the exclusive member platform
- Establish and nurture a highly efficient, top-tier engineering team, embodying the roles of both mentor and team player
- Align with the overarching company vision and strategic objectives, collaborating closely with Strategy, Product, and Design leaders to achieve successful outcomes
- Identify and execute valuable integrations with third-party entities to enhance platform functionality and user experience
Job Requirements
- 8+ years software engineering experience.
- Prior experience at a Fintech company, preferably in the wealthtech vertical
- Experience with customer-centric platforms
- Familiarity with the demands, needs, and expectations of squalified UHNW investors.
- Customer service mindset
- A plus if prior experience with private funds and VC, PE, RE and/or private credit investment strategies
