About the Opportunity
Make a real difference in the lives of children and families as a Pediatrician within our client’s mission-driven, community health organization on Long Island! We’re seeking a bilingual (English & Spanish) physician who’s passionate about equitable, whole-person pediatric care and eager to serve a diverse patient population across multiple welcoming health center locations.
The annual base salary range is $160,000 to $210,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive medical care to newborns, children, and adolescents
- Monitor growth, development, and cognitive milestones through regular exams
- Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests to guide treatment plans
- Administer and track immunizations on schedule
- Counsel parents and guardians on nutrition, hygiene, and preventive health
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team using a patient-centered medical home model
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Travel to other community sites for coverage as needed
- Stay current through continuing education and professional involvement
Job Requirements
- MD from an accredited medical school
- Active (or eligible) New York medical license
- Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics
- 1–2 years of experience preferred
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
