Our client, a well-regarded FinTech firm based in Manhattan, is seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Senior Learning Innovation Lead to help drive firmwide AI adoption through practical, business-focused learning initiatives. This individual will play a highly visible role in advancing AI fluency across the organization, partnering closely with internal stakeholders to design impactful programs that enhance day-to-day workflows and enable employees to apply new tools with confidence and intention.
The Senior Learning Innovation Lead will monitor emerging AI tools, trends, and best practices, translating relevant developments into accessible and actionable learning strategies for both technical and non-technical audiences. Responsibilities include designing and delivering engaging learning programs, facilitating workshops and training sessions, leading AI-focused initiatives from planning through execution, and collaborating with broader Learning & Development partners to embed AI into existing programs and content. This individual will work closely with business leaders to identify opportunities for workflow improvement, foster experimentation and responsible AI usage, and drive meaningful behavior change across the firm. They are operating in a 3/2 hybrid schedule.
The annual base salary range is $180,000 to $300,00099. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor emerging AI tools, trends, and best practices, and translate relevant developments into practical learning strategies
- Design and deliver learning programs that help employees understand and apply AI in their daily work
- Partner with business leaders to identify learning needs and create solutions that support real workflow improvement
- Facilitate interactive workshops, training sessions, and learning experiences for technical and non-technical audiences
- Lead AI-focused learning initiatives from planning through execution, including timelines, stakeholders, and cross-functional coordination
- Collaborate with broader L&D partners to integrate AI into existing learning programs, content development, and delivery methods
- Encourage experimentation, curiosity, and responsible use of AI across the employee population
Job Requirements
- 15+ years of professional experience, including a strong background in L&D, instructional design, facilitation, talent development, change management, or a related area
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Strong understanding of AI, GenAI, AI adoption, AI fluency, or related emerging workplace technologies is required
- Experience at a financial services firm, FinTech firm, or tech firm is strongly preferred
- Experience building practical learning solutions that support business needs and behavior change
- Ability to communicate complex topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong consulting skills with experience partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
- Excellent facilitation, project management, writing, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment while managing multiple priorities independently
