About the Opportunity
Our client, a prestigious financial services firm based in Manhattan, is seeking a highly organized and discreet Personal Assistant to support the Principal of the firm. This individual will play a critical role in managing the Principal’s personal and professional life, splitting time between the office and the Principal’s home, with occasional travel to Westchester, and reporting directly to the Chief of Staff while maintaining close, trusted collaboration with the Principal and family.
The Personal Assistant will oversee scheduling and travel arrangements, manage household operations, and coordinate vendors, staff, and daily logistics. Responsibilities include arranging travel and reservations, supervising household staff, coordinating deliveries and errands, planning events, and maintaining organized records and communications with the finance team. The ideal candidate will be a resourceful, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and brings discretion, flexibility, and polish to every task.
The annual base salary range is $125,000 to $175,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Support a the founder’s personal operations across scheduling, travel, household oversight, errands, philanthropic events, and records
- Occasionally assist other family members; work directly with the principal while reporting to the Chief of Staff
- Join a standing weekend call with the principal’s spouse and stay available for occasional evening or weekend work
- Manage personal and professional calendars and arrange all travel, including flights, lodging, and car service
- Book restaurants, keep a travel task list, and coordinate with the travel agency when used
- Supervise cleaning staff, keep spaces tidy, and assist with meal prep and light cooking
- Coordinate household vendors alongside building and property management, and restock supplies
- Handle deliveries, grocery runs, and home purchases, including product research and returns
- Plan social gatherings and support visiting guests with access and household details
- Maintain a household guide, organize digital files, and work with the finance director on invoices and bill payments
- Arrange pet care for one dog and maintenance for two vehicles
Job Requirements
- 4 + years Personal Assistant experience, supporting a HNWI
- Financial Services experience is a plus
- Valid Driver’s license
- Strong attention to detail
