X-Ray Technologist / Radiologic Technologist

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented X-Ray Technologist to become an integral part of our client’s growing outpatient healthcare team in Middlesex County, NJ. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with physicians, clinical staff, and patients in a fast-paced orthopedic and specialty care environment where quality, safety, and patient experience are top priorities.

The annual base salary range is $55,000 to $75,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging according to physician orders and established protocols
  • Ensure all imaging equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and functioning safely
  • Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while maximizing comfort
  • Educate patients regarding imaging procedures and address questions or concerns to create a positive experience
  • Adhere to radiation safety standards and utilize protective measures to minimize exposure for patients and staff
  • Maintain an organized imaging suite and ensure equipment and work areas remain clean and compliant
  • Monitor inventory levels for radiology supplies and assist with ordering as needed
  • Protect patient privacy and maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
  • Collaborate effectively with providers, medical assistants, and administrative staff to support efficient patient flow
  • Assist with additional clinical or administrative duties as requested to support practice operations

 

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Active New Jersey Radiologic Technologist License required
  • Current ARRT Certification (R.T. (R)) required
  • Previous experience in an outpatient clinic, orthopedic practice, imaging center, or healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of radiographic positioning, imaging procedures, and radiation safety principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide exceptional patient service while working efficiently in a busy environment
