About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a full-time contract position in the ICU with responsibilities for providing critical care services. The role involves conducting assessments, developing care plans, and delivering high-quality patient care in the intensive care environment. Candidates must possess the ability to float to other facilities and departments, providing care across various ICU settings and supporting patient needs effectively.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $68.75 to $81.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized care plans for ICU patients.
- Provide critical care therapy including ECMO, IABP, Impella, and CRRT management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in various departments across facilities.
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress and any significant changes in condition.
- Remain informed on contemporary ICU procedures, technologies, and therapies.
Job Requirements:
- Active CA RN License and BSN required.
- Completion of AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- At least 4 years of recent ICU experience, with ECMO experience within the last 6 months to 1 year.
- Proficiency in managing cardiovascular critical care patients and devices such as PA Catheters.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
