About the Opportunity:
This part-time contract position involves providing occupational therapy services to patients. Occupational therapists are integral in assisting patients to improve their ability to perform daily activities through therapeutic interventions. They work closely with patients to evaluate their conditions, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic techniques to achieve individual goals.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $35.75 to $42.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct occupational assessments and develop personalized care plans.
- Provide therapy focused on improving motor skills, coordination, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with physical therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in occupational therapy.
Job Requirements:
- Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing therapeutic strategies tailored to individual patient needs.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
