About the Opportunity:
Provide oral hygiene services as a Dental Hygienist, working collaboratively with the dentist to meet patient oral health needs. Ensure high levels of patient care and satisfaction while working within a team-based environment. Handle a variety of clinical duties that require exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with patients, dentists, dental assistants, and other team members. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $38.50 to $45.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) equipment as required.
- Provide oral hygiene treatments and education in accordance with state guidelines.
- Apply fluoride and protective sealants; remove calculus, stain, and plaque.
- Offer nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease.
- Record and review patient medical histories.
- Uphold office policy, including HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
- Order and manage inventory as needed.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene school.
- Current state-issued Dental Hygiene license.
- CPR certification.
- X-ray training or certification.
- Minimum of one year of hands-on experience as a hygienist.
- Experience with Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment operation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
