About the Opportunity:
A Project Management Specialist provides essential support to internal and external customers across the state. This role involves managing various operational aspects such as vehicle management, facility maintenance, and logistical coordination. It is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $12.60 to $14.89 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Log and report time accurately.
- Follow directives from supervisors and team leaders.
- Communicate effectively using phone and email systems across the agency.
- Comply with CFOP 40-2 Vehicle Management, maintaining state vehicles and submitting monthly logs timely.
- Manage internal and external departmental moves, including key and keycard systems.
- Dispose of surplus materials and furnish employees as needed.
- Install equipment like whiteboards and manage facilities to ensure operational readiness.
- Assist with large IT equipment moves and comply with CFOP 215-4 Safety & Loss Control.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure the safety of all sites.
- Assist with Disaster Management during emergencies, preparing facilities and assets.
- Address safety issues immediately and manage warehouse organization.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Florida Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a level 2 background screening and MVR clearance.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Experience in vehicle fleet and supply/warehouse management.
- Proficiency in using handcarts and hand dollies for heavy items.
- Familiarity with OSHA and safety regulations.
- Experience in conducting site inspections and handling IT equipment.
- Familiarity with Central Florida regions and GPS.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
