About the Opportunity:
The Project Management Specialist provides crucial logistics and support functions across multiple sites in the Florida Department of Children and Families. This full-time contract position manages and coordinates various operational aspects including vehicle maintenance, keycard system management, and warehouse organization. The specialist also assists with Disaster Management preparations and conducts facility inspections to ensure operational efficiency and safety across the Suncoast Region.
The estimated base pay for this position is $12.60 to $14.89 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Log and report time accurately.
- Follow directives from supervisors and team leaders.
- Maintain compliance with CFOP 40-2 Vehicle Management standards.
- Assist with internal and external departmental moves.
- Manage the keycard system and distribute keys to staff as needed.
- Dispose of surplus materials and furniture in compliance with CFOP 80-2.
- Install office equipment like whiteboards and corkboards.
- Conduct site inspections as directed across the region.
- Ensure operational safety at facilities, addressing any issues immediately.
- Transfer surplus IT equipment to designated warehouse locations.
Job Requirements:
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Florida Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Successful passing of a level 2 background screening and clear MVR.
- Experience in vehicle fleet maintenance.
- Experience in supply/warehouse management.
- Proficiency in using handcarts and dollies for moving heavy items.
- Experience in Disaster Management and facility readiness.
- Familiarity with OSHA and safety regulations.
- Experience in conducting facility site inspections.
- Basic experience with IT equipment (6 months required).
